Dr. Roger Korman, Chairman and CEO
Dr. Korman worked 25 years in international business for IMS Health (NYSE:RX), the world leader in information services to the pharmaceutical industry. He led product development in the U.S., including the first generations of the prescription database, and served as Managing Director of IMS U.K and Ireland and President of IMS Canada and Latin America. Dr. Korman expanded the Canadian business to become the fourth largest in the IMS worldwide portfolio, in the process winning the Globe and Mail Top 50 Companies in Canada twice and the Macleans Top 100 Companies in Canada three times. Dr. Korman has served on the Board of Directors of Alegro Health (TSX:AGO), Phoenix International Life Sciences and the Canadian Institute for Child Health. He joined the Aptilon Board in 2003, became CEO upon retiring from IMS in 2004, and assumed the position of Chairman in 2006. Dr. Korman obtained his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from the City University of New York, a Masters degree in quantitative research from Temple University, and his M.S.S. and Ph.D. from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research.
